The Merry Wives of Windsor

3rd of June–5th of July
in the Guildford castle grounds

Shakespeare’s “The Merry Wives of Windsor” is a great ‘romp’, with an array of colourful characters, including the cash-strapped Sir John Falstaff who plots to seduce the two ‘merry wives’. When they discover his trick, they unleash hilarious forms of revenge! Other eccentric characters include the gossiping Mistress Quickly, the jealous husband (who takes on an unusual disguise), a pompous Welsh vicar and a manic French doctor (who come to blows). Set in the 1980s, think big hair, wheelie bins and James Bond. Award-winning Pranksters return to the beautiful setting of Guildford Castle Grounds with another fun-filled, summery show!
